Jim Caviezel, raised in a Catholic home, is revered for his roles as Jesus in "The Passion of the Christ" and Tim Ballard in "Sound of Freedom." Off-screen, Jim and his wife Kerri have adopted three children from China and he actively supports charities focused on women, children, and the unborn. Jim is also a well-known speaker at Christian and philanthropic events.
Melissa Ohden is a survivor of a saline-infusion abortion, a Master’s level Social Worker, and an acclaimed author. As the Founder and Director of The Abortion Survivors Network and The Education and Policy Center, she has connected with 397 abortion survivors and is a leading voice in policy and media, including Fox News and Congressional hearings.
Mark is the Founder and CEO of the Southwest Coalition which he started in 2015. With the support of the Las Cruces community, he quit his job the following year to focus his entrepreneurial drive into full-time pro-life ministry to help moms be heroes across the Borderland, always seeing Guiding Star centers and a maternity home as the endgame.
Our mission is to restore reverence for the sanctity of life and natural womanhood in the Southwest through a coalition of nonprofit social enterprises in line with Catholic and Biblical teaching.
